The Maumoon Foundation Celebrates 15 Years of Service

The Maumoon Foundation proudly marked its 15th anniversary on the evening of January 26, 2025, commemorating a decade and a half of work in the service of the Maldivian people. Established in 2010 by President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, the Foundation has remained steadfast in its mission to promote education, Islamic values, and national unity.

The anniversary celebration, held in Malé, brought together members, partners, and well-wishers who have supported the Foundation over the years. As part of the event, TMF was honoured to welcome four distinguished scholarship graduates as new members of the Foundation. These individuals, having successfully completed their studies under TMF’s scholarship programmes, are now actively serving the nation across various professional fields. Their achievements stand as a testament to the Foundation’s long-standing commitment to empowering Maldivians through meaningful opportunities.

Over the past 15 years, the Maumoon Foundation has awarded numerous scholarships in areas such as science, technology, health, and tourism, while also supporting initiatives that strengthen the cultural and spiritual fabric of the nation
